Modernization of PALLADIUM

After more than 12 years of operation, the most burdened parts of the common premises of the building need to be completely renovated. Due to this fact, modernization works will be initiated and will be done step by step without interrupting the operation of the shopping center. The modernization of PALLADIUM will not impose major limitations on PALLADIUM customers.

Modernization works will take place in the shopping center entrance areas from náměstí Republiky, Na Poříčí street and the metro passage. In the entrance area from náměstí Republiky (which has the highest footfall), a floor will be extended all the way up to the historical building. This will enable the Infokiosk to be moved further from the entrance area in order to create an airier atmosphere. At the same time, a new ceiling over the Luxor bookstore and café will be created making the seating area cozier for the café guests. In the entrance areas, the door system will be improved. In addition to that, the lighting will be replaced, the navigation system will be modernized and extended and new relaxation zones for visitors will be created.

A new architectural design of the entrance portal roof with the glass board located above it will also be included in the modernization of the shopping center´s entrance area from náměstí Republiky, to correspond with current trends. This will present the facade of the historically preserved building more pleasantly.

The construction works will be initiated in mid-January 2020 and will be done step by step without interrupting the operation of the shopping center. We believe that the modernization of PALLADIUM will provide a more attractive shopping environment for our customers.
