Come and buy shoes that breathe in the new GEOX store (floor 0)

The Italian fashion brand Geox, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year, has opened a new store in PALLADIUM on floor 0. Come and buy your shoes that breathe!

The store offers women's, men's and children's shoes, fashion and accessories, and currently seasonal discounts of up to 40% on selected pieces.

The founder of Geox, Mario Moretti Polegato, found the inspiration for breathable shoes during his morning jog in Nevada, USA. His running shoes were getting very warm, so he used his Swiss Army knife to cut small notches into the soles of his shoes. By doing this, he was able to release the excessive heat from inside of the shoes and so relieve his feet.

Returning to his native Italy, Polegato developed a new technology, a rubber sole that has a unique membrane capable of letting in water vapor, but not water. He immediately patented the technology. Due to the lack of interest in his technology from the major shoe manufacturers, he eventually decided to produce shoes independently, and so founded Geox (Geo stands for Earth and "x" for science and innovation, on which the company is built - it invests 2% of its annual revenue in innovation to improve its products and bring only the best to its customers in the years to come).

The Geox store in PALLADIUM is situated on floor 0 and is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm.
